Privacy Policy

WHAT IS A PRIVACY POLICY FOR?

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaced the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC. It was designed to harmonise data privacy laws across Europe, protect and empower all EU citizens' data privacy, and reshape how organisations across the region approach data privacy.   This privacy policy has been compiled for this website www..com/ to better serve those concerned with how their 'Personally Identifiable Information' (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in EU privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website.

Privacy Policy - The Basics

A privacy policy is a statement that discloses how a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy and an explanation about the different mechanisms the company is implementing to protect privacy.

Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible for making sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location.

What to Include in The Privacy Policy

Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and how it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection and more.
