ECO Construction is committed to (CCC) Committee on Climate Change. Our aim is to establish valuable meaningful partnerships with interested parties ranging from, modular home manufacturers. self build groups, cooperatives, individual investors, housing associations, local authorities to private developers, bringing diversity and fresh thinking to the table, making it an exciting time to meet the demand and challenge of providing sustainable homes of the future.
It’s driven by the government’s target to build 300,000 new homes a year, to combat Britain’s housing shortage and meet climate change initiatives. The government have set a massive challenge to the building industry that will require organisations to pool resources, skills, knowledge, experience and commitment to achieve this goal.

Britain’s housing crisis and the global climate emergency are the UK’s biggest challenges of the 21st century. Buildings currently account for 40% of carbon emissions in the UK and 60% of all waste.
In order to meet climate targets, and stop adding to the huge retrofit challenge, the Committee on Climate Change (CCC), has given the construction industry just ten years to make all new buildings, not just homes, Zero Carbon.
